Ein russisches Transportunternehmen nahm nun einen unregelmäßigen Fährverkehr zwischen Wladiwostok und Rason mit einem nordkoreanischen Schiff auf, worüber die KCNA kurz berichtet:

A ceremony of setting Mangyongbong sail for Vladivostok took place at Rajin Port Wednesday.
Present there were officials of the Rason City People's Committee, officials concerned, Russian guests including the consul general of the Russian Federation in Chongjin and tourists.
Congratulatory speeches were made at the ceremony.
Mangyongbong's operation as Rajin-Vladivostok international tourist liner will make a positive contribution to developing marine transport and economic cooperation and tourism between the two countries."
